Hat Trick Chair
A remake of the Frank Gehry classicA remake of Frank Gehry’s iconic Hat Trick Chair under the tutelage of Studio Junction. The making of this chair involved formwork making, steam bending, complicated glue-ups, finishing, and many other woodworking techniques.
All formwork used in this project was freecycled MDF, with the only virgin material used being the wood for the chair itself.
The replica is on the right, with the original on the left.
